Job Information

We are currently recruiting for two Meter Billing Administrators who will be based in a friendly, professional established company in the Leith area of Edinburgh. Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

 

  • Assist with the accurate processing of meter billing invoices and credits
  • Maintain the meter billing computer system and database information
  • Create customer invoices and maintain accuracy
  • Handle meter billing enquiries
  • Provide reception cover from time to time
  • Monthly billing of meter revenue, including consolidated billing
  • Input readings from various software reports
  • Raise customer credits
  • Daily invoice report running
  • Monitor and input price increases as per customer agreements
  • Set up of new customer accounts and process customer address changes
  • Checking of contacts & machine meter set-up
  • Sending welcome packs to new customers
  • Dealing with customer calls regarding readings & queries
  • Prepare reports for sales department
  • Any other related duties which may be requested by the Finance Manager or Meter Billing Supervisor
  • Friendly busy, demanding environment
  • Organised individual with attention to detail and numerical skills
  • Excellent communications with both external and internal customers
  • Cheerful, positive, calm and helpful attitude
  • Able to demonstrate a good work ethic
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills including Excel
