March 13, 2017

When you are looking for a job, it is easy to get stuck in a loop of frustration as each job specification seems to introduce a new host of specialised software or an advanced knowledge of particular suites. You think to yourself, ‘I can’t get a job without these skills, but I can’t gain these skills without a job!’

We’d like to offer you another option…

Online courses, classes, tests, and sometimes even certifications- many of which are free and you can do on your own time.

As the job search continues we recommend that you continue to up skill yourself. Below are some of our coursework suggestions:

Alison: Free Online Courses available in thousands of subjects including office skills.

Facebook, Google, Hootsuite, Twitter, etc: Many Social Marketing sites offer some sort of certification (paid) or at least some courses on how to use their products. If you’re interested in marketing, then these courses may be worthwhile.
