When is the best time to look for a new position?
This is a decision which may be taken out of your hands, particularly in times of uncertainty, however there are occasions when we decide to change for reasons which will not always enhance our prospects of finding the "right" job.
For example, if you remain within a position in which you are not entirely satisfied in the hope that something might change, there is a risk that you may seek a new position purely to get away from your current situation but not necessarily progressing to a role that will enhance your career prospects.
